BUILT WILD | Sausha Davis

About Wild Gatherings
Wild Gatherings are small, outdoor experiences held on a working ranch. Activities may include journaling, group conversation, horse observation, grooming, and time spent around horses and ranch animals.
Assumption of Risk
I understand that participating in a Wild Gathering involves inherent risks associated with a working ranch, including horses, livestock, uneven ground, fences, wildlife, insects, weather, mud, dust, smoke, and other natural hazards.
I understand that horses are large, powerful animals that may move, kick, bite, step on, spook, or behave unpredictably.
I voluntarily choose to participate and accept these inherent risks.
Oregon Equine Activity Release (ORS 30.687–30.697)
I understand that Oregon law limits the liability of equine activity sponsors for injuries or death resulting from the inherent risks of equine activities.
To the fullest extent permitted by Oregon law, I release and waive any claims against BUILT WILD, Sausha Davis, the property owner, volunteers, assistants, contractors, and anyone acting on their behalf, except in cases of gross negligence or intentional misconduct.
Personal Responsibility
I am responsible for my own decisions, participation, and well-being throughout the event. I agree to follow all safety instructions and communicate any concerns to the host.
I understand participation is always voluntary, and I may choose not to participate in any activity.
Health
I confirm that I am physically and emotionally able to participate, or I accept full responsibility for any condition that may affect my participation.
In the event of a medical emergency, I authorize BUILT WILD to obtain emergency medical care if necessary. Any medical expenses are my responsibility.
Emotional Well-Being
Wild Gatherings encourage personal reflection and meaningful conversation. I understand emotions may arise during the experience.
These gatherings are educational and personal development experiences only. They are not therapy, counseling, medical care, or mental health treatment.
I remain responsible for my own emotional well-being and any decisions I make before, during, or after the event.
Participant Conduct
I agree to:
• Follow all safety instructions.
• Respect the property, horses, and other participants.
• Maintain the confidentiality of personal stories shared during the gathering.
• Refrain from attending under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs.
BUILT WILD reserves the right to remove any participant whose behavior is unsafe, disruptive, or harmful to others, the animals, or the property. Removal does not entitle the participant to a refund.
Personal Property
I am responsible for my own personal belongings. BUILT WILD is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items.
Children & Pets
Children and personal pets are not permitted unless approved in advance by the host.
Weather
Wild Gatherings are held outdoors and may take place in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, wind, smoke, dust, insects, and uneven terrain.
Photography & Video
Photos and video may be taken during the event for marketing, educational, promotional, and social media purposes.
Media consent will be collected separately. Choosing not to participate in photos or video will not affect my ability to attend.
Cancellation Policy
Because Wild Gatherings are intentionally limited to a small number of participants, all ticket sales are final.
No refunds will be issued for cancellations, illness, family emergencies, schedule conflicts, weather, travel delays, or no-shows.
Tickets may be transferred to another participant with advance notice and at the discretion of the host.
If BUILT WILD cancels the event, participants will receive a full refund.
Acknowledgment
By signing, I acknowledge that I have read and understand this Participant Agreement, Liability Waiver, and Release. I voluntarily agree to these terms and choose to participate in a Wild Gathering.
